We're excited to welcome 15 nonprofit organizations to Causey through two new strategic planning cohorts in Santa Clara County and San Mateo County, California!

These organizations work across a wide range of community needs, from education and youth development to environmental conservation, sustainability, and community advocacy. While their missions differ, they share a commitment to strengthening their organizations and creating lasting impact in the communities they serve.

Through the collaborative efforts of [**Mission Met**](https://missionmet.com){: target="_blank" rel="noopener"}, [**Thrive Alliance**](https://thrivealliance.org){: target="_blank" rel="noopener"}, [**Silicon Valley Community Foundation**](https://svcf.org){: target="_blank" rel="noopener"}, and the [**Silicon Valley Council of Nonprofits**](https://www.svcn.org/){: target="_blank" rel="noopener"}, these cohorts are helping participating organizations develop strategic plans and build the capacity to put them into action.

Across both cohorts, Thrive Alliance and Mission Met provide strategic planning, coaching, and implementation support, helping organizations turn their priorities into meaningful progress.

## **Thrive Alliance Strategic Planning Cohort**

Nonprofits serve communities in many different ways, but they often share similar challenges: balancing limited resources, setting priorities, and keeping their teams focused on long-term goals.

Thrive Alliance's Strategic Planning Cohort brings together nonprofits from a variety of sectors to strengthen their organizational capacity through strategic planning, training, and coaching.

Each organization brings its own mission, challenges, and opportunities. We're excited to support them as they develop their plans, establish priorities, and work toward meaningful progress in the communities they serve.

## **Silicon Valley Community Foundation (SVCF) Strategic Planning Cohort**

With a focus on environmental sustainability and related community initiatives, the SVCF Strategic Planning Cohort brings together organizations working across environmental conservation, education, youth development, and community advocacy.

Although the participating organizations have different missions, this cohort shares a collaborative approach to strategic planning with the Thrive Alliance cohort. Thrive Alliance also serves as a coaching partner in this program, working alongside Mission Met to help organizations develop their strategic plans and put them into action.

## **Different Missions, Shared Commitment to Progress**

A strategic plan is more than a document. Its value comes from helping organizations make decisions, align their teams, and turn priorities into action while keeping their plans relevant as their needs evolve.

Through these programs, all 15 organizations will have access to Causey to organize their strategic plans, track progress, and keep their teams connected to their goals.
